Joseph William Carter III, Consultant for SmartSource, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Joseph William Carter III’s commitment to excellence in Information Technology Consulting.
With the understanding and direct mindset that he is responsible for his own life’s journey, Joseph William Carter III began in pursuit of a wonderful career in information technology, beginning with his first degree in 1976 where he majored in computer science.
“My academic studies since that time have encompassed computer technology, computer electronics, digital electronics, biomedical electronics, cardiovascular technology, electromechanical technology, computer maintenance and support, and Microsoft computer systems engineering.”
Now working as a consultant for SmartSource, Inc., Mr. Carter is responsible for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Microcomputer Analysis, and Deployment. He also tutors and teaches all levels of computer literacy.
Aspiring to eventually expand his business interests into the international information technology community, Mr. Carter works to continuously provide the best in IT possible for SmartSource, Inc.
Mr. Carter has completed coursework in biomedical electronics at George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, as well as coursework in computer science at the University of District of Columbia. He also holds a Diploma in Microsoft Systems and a second diploma in computer Maintenance and Support, both from Career Technical Institute. He is certified in CompTIA A+ and Microsoft and is an MCSE/MCDBA candidate.
